Introduction:

This project aims to identify the baseline of the chemical information exchange in the textile sector of China and endorse the demands and responsibility of the stakeholder as well as the best practice of information exchange, based on which to carry out the pilot and demonstration of the chemical information exchange tools and develop a broad execution programme of the best practice. This project will promote the environmental sound management capacity of textile sector in China and be beneficial to reduce the effect to the environment and human health from the poisonous chemicals .
